After Effects artists wanting to move into the world of a node based compositing software have many great options today. One of those options is Fusion, a very popular compositing tool used by VFX artists both for video and film post-production.

In this webinar, we'll focus on how After Effects users should start working in Fusion beginning with a comparison between both applications. We'll walk you through various projects, from start to finish, showing you an After Effects technique and how it translates into Fusion.

PREREQUISITE

Attendees should have a basic familiarity with After Effects.

Chandan Kumar is a CG and VFX Artist and Trainer with 9 years of production, post production and teaching experience. He has worked in VFX Studios, TV Channels and later moved into the Education field. He is currently active as the core team member of CGTuts+ (ENVATO) and trains the global students and professionals as an online CG and VFX mentor.

• Computer speakers (if you are not calling in).
• Any screen resolution should work, however, the higher the resolution, the better it will look.
• Any latest version of Safari, Internet Explorer or Firefox.
• Java needs to be enabled.


2. ON DEMAND WEBINARS
• Any Windows (XP, Vista, 7) or Mac (OS X) computer.
• Computer speakers.
• Any screen resolution should work, however, the higher the resolution, the better it will look.
• A media player that can play .m4v and .m4a files (iTunes, Windows Media, etc.)
• Acrobat reader for some of the PDF files.
• Depending on the webinar, you will need a host application to open up the bonus features (such as project files, etc.)
