DESCRIPTION

DSLRs like the Canon 5D Mk II and 7D have revolutionized the world of digital filmmaking. However, there are some drawbacks to them including the dreaded CMOS rolling shutter issues (to name just one).

In this webinar we will cover a general overview of video stabilization both from a production perspective, like what rigs you should use, to post production including what cool stabilization plugins you should be aware of. We'll also talk about the pros and cons of using such plugins.

Ben Balser
Ben Balser is an Apple Certified Master Trainer for Final Cut Studio, Final Cut Server, and Logic Pro/Express. Currently, Ben is teaching at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. When not producing audio and video projects, he runs the South Louisiana Final Cut Pro Users Group, and publishes the Final Cut Louisiana - Tip Of The Week.

He is also a technical consultant and teaches at training centers, corporations, state and national government agencies, colleges and universities around the country. Ben has written for several national magazines as well.

    • You'll be able to call into a phone # (which you will get in the confirmation email) or can also use your computer audio to listen in.

    • Depending on the webinar, you will need a host application to open up the bonus features (such as project files, etc.)
