Whether you simply need to balance out colors between edits, or if you want to take a more creative angle and use color correction to help tell your story. Final Cut Pro X introduces a new tool set and filters built to help you fix problem footage or help craft your work.

In this webinar you will learn how to set up your Final Cut Pro X interface for efficient color correcting. You will learn about the variety of video filters and effects available to you, identifying which ones are new in FCP X. We will cover how to use video scopes to maximize the potential of your video, how to color match a series of clips and the best way to stay within video safe levels. We will also explore some unusual techniques for quickly solving problems with exposure to give your video a high-class look.

All of this without 3rd party tools or plug-ins.

  • Color balancing during media ingestion.

EBOOKS YOU MAY LIKE

Conquering the metadata foundations of Final Cut Pro X eBook
If you've been using Final Cut Pro for a while the idea of metadata may have slipped past you. Plenty of other software like Aperture, Premiere Pro, and even Final Cut Server, use metadata extensively, but Final Cut Pro 7 and earlier? Not so much. That's changed now with FCP X. FCP X is not just a complete rewrite – it's a rethink of how modern non-linear editing software meets the needs of editors. And part of that rethinking is relying heavily on metadata as a foundation for organizing media in Final Cut Pro X.

FCP 7 to FCP X Conversion Matrix eBook
If you are looking to upgrade from Final Cut Pro 7 to Final Cut Pro X, then you already know that FCP X is a significant change, not only in the way it looks, but also the way it works. Among it's many changes, a significant one is the keyboard shortcuts. This 16 page eBook shows you how FCP 7 keyboard shortcuts translate to FCP X keyboard shortcuts with an easy to follow table. The shortcuts are organized by workflow. This eBook is iBook and Kindle friendly. It includes 2 PDF copies, one for reading and one for printing (uses less ink). The document is fully searchable and hyperlinked to help you get to the shortcut you are looking for quickly!
