DESCRIPTION

At the most basic level, we use video compression to make files smaller to simplify downloads. However, making small files with great looking images can be a real challenge. This webinar builds on the compression fundamentals webinar - Compressor 4 Workflows - and takes you farther and into other compression tools.

In this session, we will look at advanced features in Compressor 4, then compare them to Telestream Episode Pro. We'll compare droplets with watch folders, check out how to create WMV and FLV files, and examine the different controls each interface provides. If you need to compress lots of files, quickly, with great quality - or you just want to check out the latest compression techniques - this webinar is for you.

PREREQUISITE

Larry Jordan is a producer, director, editor, consultant and Apple-Certified trainer with over 30 years video production and post-production experience. He is currently using his award-winning skills in training editors to use Final Cut Studio. He is the Executive Producer and Host of Digital Production BuZZ, as well as author of five books on Final Cut Studio, along with a monthly on-line newsletter covering Final Cut Studio.

HOW IT WORKS

1. LIVE WEBINARS
• Register for the webinar by selecting an option from the "Purchase Options" section.
• You will receive an email confirmation.
• On the day and time of the Webinar, click on the URL in the confirmation email.
• Remember to log in 20 minutes before the webinar to watch "The Twenties", a 20 minute "slide show" before the webinar.
• The presentation will appear in your browser. If this is the first time you've taken a Webinar from us, you will have to approve the installation of the GotoMeeting.com plug-in. You must have Java enabled for this plug-in to work.
• You'll be able to call into a phone # (which you will get in the confirmation email) or can also use your computer audio to listen in.
• You'll be able to ask text questions through an easy to use interface. Your microphone is not enabled during the presentation.


2. ON DEMAND WEBINARS

• You will receive confirmation of your payment.
